The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 101st Annual Meeting will be held January 9–13, 2022 in Washington, D.C. The event is expected to attract thousands of transportation professionals from around the world. The meeting program covers all transportation modes, with sessions and workshops addressing topics of interest to policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions. A number of sessions and workshops focus on the spotlight theme for the 2022 meeting: Innovating an Equitable, Resilient, Sustainable, and Safe Transportation System. TRB COVID Health and Safety Procedures: “To ensure the safety of all attendees, please note the following policies and recommendations for the 2022 meeting. Mask Requirement: All attendees are required to wear protective masks throughout the meeting, except when actively eating or drinking, or when speaking from a lectern that’s 6+ feet away from others. Masks should cover the nose and mouth, fit snugly against the sides of the face, and ideally should be 2-3 layers of tightly woven fabric. To be effective, masks must be worn correctly. Vaccination: We ask that you attend the meeting only if you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the CDC. Advance Registration Requirement: There will be no onsite registration this year. You must register before you arrive onsite. Register Early: We strongly urge that you register by December 3 to have your badge mailed to you and avoid the Badge Pickup line onsite (U.S. registrants only).
